When I broke my ankle (fibula), it healed quickly but only 97% mobility in a deep squat.
18 months later, doing yoga, I realized I'd been favoring it, decided to challenge it by putting weight on the damaged outside. Felt the scar tissue or whatever rip, sore next day. A few iterations of that, and got 100% mobility back and no trouble since.
I don't know if it was necessary to wait that long.
Moral of story: sometimes you have to work at it to make it heal. |

Oh my ankle has healed. Done a few 15+ mile day hikes along Wonderland trail this past Summer. And hoping to do the full loop later this year. Just have not been able to use all my packs as much as I want overnighters.
Will be glad to hold on to LBP, fits beautifully. Wish I had gone for the full Dyneema. |

Nice looking pack...will it handle skis?

I don't see why not. You can use the side pockets and side straps to secure the skis.
You are welcome to check it out if you are near Puget Sound. |

Thinking in selling my McHale 0-SARC, but not sure if I’ll be able to bring myself to do it. McHale packs last forever, are comfortable, and downright bombproof. And the ability to customize and accessorize is second to none. I just bought a ULA Catalyst and could use the money from my McHale, but pulling the trigger in a sale would likely leave a hole in my soul.
The price in this listing is not excessive. Anyone who knows anything about McHale Packs can vouch for that.

A thing is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it.
One aspect of the value of a McHale pack is that they are made to measure for your body.
So that aspect of the value is "not so much" as a used item -- even if the amount of usage is zero.
Sometimes it is just a question of finding the right buyer -- alg will need to find someone with the same measurements for the pack to fit them as perfectly. |

Lowering to $500. Few have enquired. Nobody has seen it.
This is a 22.5" in McHale sizing that can adjust to 21.5".
I wear a 20" in Hyperlite Mountain Gear sizing.
The hip belt is very adjustable. |

How tall are you? Also, how well does a bear can fit in it?

I am 5' 7" about 185lbs. Waist ranges 32" to 34". Long torso, 20". Fit Hyperlite Mountain Gear size large.
Bear canister should fit inside horizontally, depending on size. It has 40" diameter. |
