Since popsicles are the new toilet paper, I bought sorbet. Amazon has popsicle sticks and molds coming, I have raspberry lemonade in the fridge waiting to be frozen into service.
All that stuff is coming tomorrow, the real reason for a 20 degree temperature drop.
Frozen strawberries from our garden make a great cold snack.
How did you get frozen strawberries from your garden in this heat?

Actually the June bearing strawberries were producing so well that we had filled the space allocated for strawberries in our chest freezer and I had inquired at the Redmond food bank if they could take soft fruit such as strawberries. They said "sure". And then the heat wave shut down the plants.
The good news is we have some ever-bearing strawberrie plants that are starting to produce and will keep going into fall (hopefully).
