A warning for tomorrow.  Blame Canada.  I can't leave until temps get lower.

From a facebook page by an air quality group or something:

Hey there! Head's up that we're forecasted to get our first significant wildfire smoke of the season possibly starting tomorrow and through the weekend as winds shift and push smoke from the BC fires near Kamloops our way. High temps are starting to come down but fire danger remains HIGH - please stay safe out there.
We like to get our smoke forecasting information from www.airnow.gov on the "Fires" and "Fire and Smoke map" tab

Hit the smoke yesterday heading into Missoula. We didn稚 book a room and everything was full up on the I-90 corridor, so headed down to Dillon and found a room for 2 for less than $70 total, score. Hitting the road to Pinedale soon!

Just got back from a short bike ride, cough cough.  Yes, my smoke season cough has returned.

And the worthless bastards are at it yet again. My son saw 11+ roadside grassfires within a few miles on I-5 south of Olympia this afternoon.

No smoke visible from Grand Park in MRNP today.  Gorgeous hike. 10/10 would recommend.   smile.gif

I'm getting bummed out.  I figured that if the wind switched like predicted, the smoke would clear out and I would go for a bike ride.

That hasn't happened and the smoke seems to be getting worse.   waah.gif

Smoke from our fires has made it all the way to NYC and tri state area, making for a red sun. We are in big trouble if Eve wind shifts to offshore.
