Great pics guys. Not many people get into Kwak. Not to many people get in here anymore.

Doh, I knew I had seen that lake before. The mini iceberg fooled me into thinking it was a recent pic, but I don't think Kawkawak ever fully thaws out.

Cad Lake? You said quick jaunt so doubt that's it, but if Neek joined perhaps it qualifies as a quick juant.

Very close! About 4.75 miles away from Cad Lake. This is the first time my submission wasn't immediately identified! hink.gif

Ah, perhaps Red Pond (aka Red Mountain Pothole). Partially responsible for the birth of NWH. After 911 I hiked up to Red Pass and came home to post a TR and picture on the WTA site only to find the admin had taken it upon himself to disable the html <img> tag in WTA trip reports. I got creative and used javascript to post my image devilsmile.gif (he hadn't disabled the <script> tag or any other html tag). This got me banned from WTA and all my TRs removed. Apparently the admin claimed the next day that I had hacked the WTA site and kept him up all night.

It was sure nice to get away from the heartbreaking images on TV this weekend. A trip to Red Pass on Saturday offered some mental relief and time for reflection...
