Wow. This avalanche is not to be believed. Especially when the bridge is taken out by a picnic table-sized boulder flying through the air. So many boulders are airborne it's like looking from a castle as the trebuchets hurl their rocks. Twitter link here. You may have to turn on the sound. This happened in Northern India, state of Himachal Pradesh. ~z

Since I have no expectations of forgiveness, I don't do it in the first place. That loop hole needs to be closed to everyone.

Enjoying these mash ups by Bill McClintock. Some might actually fit in "Better Than The Real Thing? Cover Songs".

This talk is fascinating. To think that Mt. Stuart granite is from the south--Oregon, California, possibly Mexico! It was interesting to hear about the glaciation. The big Canada ice sheets only made it down as far as Holden area in the North Cascades. (He didn't mention Puget Sound--only areas in view of Lion Rock.) And he talked about some local Alpine Glaciation including down from Ingalls Lake towards Peshastin and from Snoqualmie Pass to Cle Elum Thanks for posting. ~z
