I once wrote a Python program to figure out a lake that Tom posted. Although I was 80% sure what it was before I did that. He said it started and ended with the same letter and I pulled a list off Wikipedia or something and ran it through a quick script lol.

That video is hilarious.
"Very remote area where probably nobody has ever been before" with a road right next to it.
He should be on one of those survival shows since he did such a great job making his own tent poles.
Somebody should warn him that the bears and mountain lions are scary but what he really needs to worry about are the GRIZZLY EEPS. When I was young a friend and I hiked into North Lake off the ML and caught some fish and decided it would be a good idea to dam the creek and release the fish there so we could eat them in the morning. When we woke up there were fish parts all over the campsite. Young imaginations go wild but after a bit we figured it must have been one of the little critters that we heard saying EEP all the time. But we had to make it sound ferocious so we called it a Grizzly Eep.

It shouldn't have been too hard to do it old skool since it started with the first letter of the alphabet.

I think everyone's been to the lake in Bowregard's pic - Island Lk.
Klar's pics are of two "jewel" lakes off the Meadow Mt trail.

The rock does partially obscure the island (couldn't make it too obvious) but yes - borank hit it right away without any doubts.
Thanks for the confirmation. I think this game is a lot like chess - you have to see a lot of landscapes before you begin to recognize the patterns. And I suspect in some cases knowledge of the poster helps. I think I will let you folks play and just watch for now.

No, you should dig in and play.

No, taken by Long Bach Nguyen: https://pbase.com/longbachnguyen/lakes
I've only been as far as Hatchet via Uppper Wildcat and Caroline. Wasn't too bad, just long. Always wondered what the Cripple Creek approach was like, my impression was that it was an easier way in, maybe not.
