The bridge at exit 47 is flooded, I wish I got a picture. I don't know how deep it ultimately gets, at least several inches. From 42, the McClellan Butte TH is easy to access but driving further up the main road I saw another car having trouble crossing a washout in the slippery, clay like soil, and I went back.
I'm sure everything will be back to normal next weekend.
The river rose to the exit 47 bridge? Or did pools develop on its sides? But ya that road is pretty bumpy lately. We took the whole thing from 42 to 47 to get around a 40 minute delay/crash on 90 recently and did not save any time.
The entire width of the bridge is a pool of water.
It's supposed to be good weather the rest of the week, I'm sure everything will dry over the next few days. I know we have some retired hikers on this forum who don't work tomorrow so I'm posting this in case it's useful info.
It was like that already at noon on Saturday, I was surprised WSDOT didn't address it by the time I went back through in the evening. Sounds like they didn't do anything about it on Sunday either. Probably just needs a drain unclogging.
