sent to me by Kristen at the Olympic SO. I bunked there in '54 when I worked on the Quil District. 2 buildings were still standing. The bunk house was on the north side of the road, and I believe was the one with the 4 pipes coming out of the roof and has the flag pole in front of it. It must have been for higher level personnel as there were individual rooms. The troops would have been housed in the barracks that are at a 90 to the road. The cookshack/mess hall was the longer building directly across the street. I was told the camp planted trees, built roads and trails. Constructed some of the District buildings and even built boats. That's about all I know about that.
