I just came upon this NOAA site when I was looking for an old chart. They've digitized every nautical chart and some land surveys and they can be easily downloaded. They even have George Vancouver's charts on here.
Historical Map and Chart Collection
I am a little surprised that the bay is recognized as Duwamish Bay on the chart. It was given the name Elliott Bay by Charles Wilkes in 1841 when the US Exploring Expedition sailed through. The superintendent of the coastal surveys was Alexander Bache who happened to be the great grandson of Benjamin Franklin. Bache wrote a letter to Wilkes that is housed in the archives of Duke University. It would be interesting to read the contents of that letter.
Being a retired land surveyor, I produced a lot of maps during my career. I came across this site a while back. Google "edgate.com mapping the trail" A very interesting read if you are into surveying and mapping and early American history.
