This is a really informative documentary about the culture and influence of famed performer and early activist Te ATA Thompson Fisher in helping to promote and maintain Native culture at a time when the official government policy was to eradicate Native language and culture. Time period 1920's and 1930's and into the 1950's.

We watched this one on a recommendation from my lib cousin and came away very impressed! Definitely worth anyones time!!
