For my 70th B'day we went to Mt Baker. Incredible conditions.
Only a couple of issues.
One. As I was heading out the door. I simply bent over to pick up my skins and tweaked my back. Ate a bunch of Advil: skied very conservatively .
Two. The light went 'flat'. Couldn't read the snow worth a damn. Stuck my skis in a mound of snow and cartwheeled. My back didn't that
Otherwise. It was a great day.
I will be skiing there until late July for sure
