Steve and I day hiked the 4th of July trail up the Icicle today and were having lunch near the lookout when who should stroll by but fellow NWhikers Sadie's Driver and Middle E. Then on our way down we ran into Dave Allyn coming up. Busy day for NWhikers on the 4th of July.

My new hobby: harvesting trash using my canoe and a grabber. This stuff came from Gasworks park on Lake Union.
A couple of weeks ago:
Today:
Good haul today, two golf balls, two full beverage cans and several empties, lots of plastic bags and small items, masks, a condom, a large sign, and a hat.

Long range zoom shot. Probably Ursus arctos horribilis the dreaded Grizzly bear! They stand up like this to get a better look at their food. Luckily I shot him before he could charge me. With the camera, of course.
