My hiking partner bailed so I got an early start.
I started at the trail head at 6:00am and got to rampart ridge in time to watch the sun rise.
No bugs, no people no critters no cars nothing up there but snow and ice.
I recommend taking all your cold weather gear as it was very windy at the summit.
The pictures tell the story pretty well.
