Hmmm, as Christmas draws closer and closer, new ideas jump out as to what to get for the backpacker who seems to have everything. Here's an idea: http://www.leatherman.com/products/tools/squirt.asp Anyone have one of these?

What am I overlooking? Looks a tad heavier than the micra with nothing new (other than a choice of pliers or scissors).

Hmm, not sure. I'd stop by your local camera store and go for one that fits best. From a weight and bulk standpoint I'd think a zing neoprene might be your best choice. http://www.saundersphoto.com/html/body_zing.htm

Great, I'll check that line out. Love the G3, still working my way through the manual. I did pick up the 256 mb Kingston cards, that was a great price. Thanks for the tip on them. smile.gif

Regarding Leatherman Squirt: Anyone have one of these?
BackpackGearTest.org is reviewing them. One reviewer was really torquing them and accidently snapped the pliers. http://www.backpackgeartest.org/reviews/Knives/Multi-tools/Leatherman%20Squirt/ I really like my Swiss Army Signature (Classic with a pen replacing the toothpick option.) Still, I just saw one of these at Walmart for $25, and it looked like a nifty little gadget. I'll probably end up getting one sometime soon. Jeff
