Hello, fellow reverberance fans.
Yesterday, at Lanham Lake, we discovered the most wonderful echo I've heard. Right where the trail gets to the lake (assuming nobody is about who would be bothered by such things), a good noise directed rightward bounces at least six times. Then it revererates for a couple seconds. This would be a wonderful place for Gregorian Chant. Too bad such noise is disturbing in a wilderness setting, but we were positive that nobody was there.
Anybody found an equally amazing echo chamber in the mountains?
Standing at the outlet of Otter lake (Foss lakes) facing south east, yell your A** off and brother does it come back at you hard core! The lake is surounded by cliffs.
