Hey all, I thought I would let the NWHikers bunch have first crack at this if there's any interest out there. I am selling my Subaru DL Wagon. I'd like $1,000 for it. It is a 5 speed with 196,000 miles. Still runs well and starts right up every time. Like all Subarus of this vintage it burns a bit of oil, but with regular attention, still has at least 50,000 miles--if not more--of happy life to go. This is a great trail/snow car. It has high clearance, the 4WD works like a charm. You can turn it on anytime with the touch of a button and it clicks right in. Just had a tune up!

Does it have the hi/lo range 4WD? My '88 GL has it and it is amazing. 343K+ miles on the original motor is amazing too. smile.gif

Doesn't have Hi-Lo, but I've heard that's great. These old Subarus are the best.

If somebody gives you the option of a crosscountry trek in a Subaru with 343K+ miles or a Ford Bronco with 105K+, take the Subaru everytime. We passed up that wagon on a recent Borderline tour and regretted it when the Bronco puked its clutch fluid way back on a 4x4 trail. waah.gif
