It was a very nice and sunny weekend in the mountains. Driving 400 miles was a small price to pay for sunshine while Seattle suffered through a dark smoggy weekend. Capitol Peak is a nice alternative to Tiger Mountain for a snow free Winter hike. Mazama Ridge was as breathtaking as ever even with half the normal snow. Reports with pictures have been posted.
