I hope Jim doesn't mind me spilling the beans here, but since he's announced it elsewhere:
Check out the Washington's Major Peaks website. This outstanding list of peaks was originally published in Pack and Paddle Magazine last year. It has been converted to the web, and he's expanded, updated, and improved it. Check out his excellent photos too. A great resource for mountain lovers!
Kudos to Jim for this outstanding research and documentation! I think you'll all enjoy it tremendously.

I believe at least one of rubberlegs' handles is registered.

Something for TOPO users

Now that the beans are spilled, I'll spill my guts too. I actually discovered the article over Christmas with some idle google searching. I really appreciated the thought Jim put into it, and like the selection of peaks.
Thus inspired, I made a .TPO file for the state edition of TOPO! that has his lists and groupings. It was a lot of fun to make, and I'd like to share it.
You can get it from http://www.mountainwerks.org/cma/major_peaks.tpo

It's pretty safe to say that if we take all of man kinds accumulated knowledge, we still don't know everything. So, I hope you understand why I don't believe you know everything. But then again, maybe you do.

mvs, did you know the list has been slightly revised in the past month? It's a "living document" as I understand it, so expect a minor change here and there. The text was revised quite a bit in the last few weeks before "official publishing".

No I didn't know that, thanks. I'll seek to update the file. Now that the holidays are over, time is shorter though. If anyone beats me to it, please post...

I can't open it up. Do I have to have TOPO installed on my computer?

Yes, you need Topo to open a .tpo file.
