Howdy, I've been lurking on the forum for a while (thanks for all the great info, BTW), and finally got around to joining in order to offer up a freebie: Vasque Sundowner Summit GTX Hiking Boots Men's size 12 Wide I put about 30 miles on these boots, but they're still in very good condition. They come with the original insoles as well as Superfeet insoles. These are really nice boots; they're just not suitable for my particular anatomy. (Unfortunately, this wasn't apparent until I had put on too many outdoor miles to return them.) The boots are free to someone who's willing to pick them up in Kent. If interested, please send a PM. Thanks for the welcome, Jim. I decided to offer the boots here before my wife gets tired of looking at them and takes them to Goodwill. I suppose I could try to sell them, but I don't want the hassle. I'd rather give them to someone who needs a good pair of boots. John

I have those very boots in a size 11 wide, and love them! I find them extremely comfortable and sturdy. Sorry to hear they don't work for you; that's a pretty generous offer, folks.
