bonjour, Last weekend we went on a trip to a locally prominent peak. The approach was long but not difficult. We ascended the south column to about the 149 m. level. There was located a belay ledge at about 96 m. The route was class 1-2 to this point, while the slope was a unrelenting 30% there were more than adequate handholds and good foot placements. There was major traffic on route, but the temperature was moderate. After the initial climb the route became much more difficult, and aid was required. The final pitch brought us to a view point at the summit about 300 m. above our starting point. This view had a lovely 360 degree panorama. Upon our descent there was a somewhat hostile reception committee which was dispersed by hearty cries of NON!. ezze dat bettor?
