Spent a long weekend at Kalaloch. One day we hiked down to the mouth of the Queets and back. The weather was much better than predicted with very low and high tides. On easter had a egg hunt on the beach then the nature loops at Lake Quinault, trillions of Trilliums but few mushrooms. The kids enjoyed it muchly.

Hey MalCon: Aren't those trilliums at the nature trail loop SOMETHING? Man, last year on the 20th of April they were just thick. I like the way they hang over the trail when you are hiking with a high dirt bank on the side of the trail.
