Snow is forecast this weekend at 3000' or so, depending on the day and so forth. Both Olympics and the Cascades.
Now where to go... east or low? Or just bundle up?
On our way back from eastern Wa. yesterday, there was fresh snowfall
on some of the lower peaks along the US 2 corridor west of Stevens Pass.
Just a light dusting.

We got snowed on at 4000' Saturday, near Darrington on Iron Mountain (Helena Ridge). The sun came out just as we reached the summit! Sweet! Trip report on wta.org...
