What have you seen in your travels? Any weird plants? I've seen three albino mutations in one area, near Six Ridge Pass in the Olympics 1. White Lupine 2. White Paintbrush 3. White Shooting Stars Also, found a Bigleaf Maple with cream colored leaves in the Quinault Valley.

Jackelope on the eastern side, and sometimes snipe bewteen I-90 and Hwy 2. You will never surprise either of these in my experience. Sightings result from care and planning.

First let me apologize for bringing this thread back in the direction it was intended. I have seen White Paintbrush one time. Just below the summit of Bean Peak at the head of Bean Creek basin. I didn't know that it was mutant. I would have kept my distance....

I actually saw a 4 leafed clover. No kidding. My friend found it. He picked it. I saw where he picked it from and we couldn't find any more......

Art is an adventure.
