Hey Larry. I couldn't help but notice (as did others) the great ice axe in your "After_Mt_Tom" pic. Is that a MSR Thunderbird? I have one that looks just like it. (a thunderbird) Great ice axe that did double duty as a hiking stick . I did start using a BD Raven cause it's half the weight but the MSR Thunderbird was the ice axe that launched Larry Penberthy's company. Anyway, cool pic.

Cascade is right, I have one just like it and used at last night on Silver. I bought it for less than $12 when first offered. best hiking axe there is.
