Had an ok day today. The weather was alright. We started up the trail @ 7:30am and walked our way through the clouds. Met a guy that was trapped in an avalanche up there 6 weeks ago, and broke 8 ribs, punctured his lung, and fractured his scaptula. He said that he had come up to "look for his other ski pole." Somebody had already given him 1 of his poles, but he was looking for the other one? When we hit about 4800 ft. we were right in the mix of lcouds. We could see the blue sky everywhere, but on Granite. The way down was a little slick. Slush, and mud made for a messy trip down.
This was the ridgeline right before the summit.
