did this hike today..... snow free to talapus lake exept for a few short sections and only like a few inches deep and PACKED id say about 90% of the section to olallie lake from talapus is snow covered and all of olallie lake is covered in snow...... kinda bummed there was an overcast and didnt make for to great of reflection shots on talapus lake..... very peacefull at olallie lake with a nice steam comming from the snow covering the lake saw only 4 other people on the hike while i was comming down..... cant wait till summer when that number is multiplied by 10....
..was a nice hike. Expect lots of bugs this summer though. The only thing that bothered me was the fire pit against the living tree
funny.... i thought i saw u sittin at a nice fire in that tree with a lil pony keg of bud light throwin firecrackers into the lake????? damn hippie
hhahahhaahahahah
next time we hike above 3000 feet lets make sure the snow has fully melted
okok there are 2 things that salt me up...first the fire, second how someone takes the effort to climb over 2 miles out to a secluded lake..to carve their name in a tree
