I just found out that the WSU Libraries have USGS topo maps of just about everywhere in the west. The Owens Science library on campus has a large size black and white copier that will copy the maps full scale for a lot less money than it costs to buy the originals. I'm sure the other universities have the same resources. Just a tip I thought I'd pass along.
