BPJ has quoted my private message to him in its entirety. In hindsight it was hastily worded and perhaps a little too direct (for which I should apologize) but I did not ask him to leave. If that is how he wishes to interpret it, it is his choice. That is all I will say on the subject. It has already been blown way out of proportion.

Aw, cummon. Ya gotta stay BPJ. It seems to me that a lot of people here are a little...oblivious...to the fact that Bulliten Boards like this have more than their share of shenanegance. Without you around, it'll just get boring around here.

BPJ, When I was looking at nwhikers during lunch at work and your naked butt appeared on the screen, I was lucky no one was looking over my shoulder. My conservative company probably could have canned me for it. How many pictures of you and your toys do you need to post? And how many times do we really need to hear your opinion on each topic? Maybe once or twice a day would suffice. Use spell checker so we get fewer replies making fun of your spelling. Personally, I skip most of your posts. However, recently you are taking up large amounts of space saying the same thing over and over. Gary

I don't have the time or ability to read all the posts or follow all the threads that may relate to this topic, but hope that BPJ was not told to "take a hike" due to the expression of his opinions. I appreciated his enthusiasm, if not his slant, on many of the topics brought up in this forum. Hopefully he put as little thought into his decision to leave as he has in many of his posts. I suffer from just the opposite affliction and spend too much time thinking about a response. Many times I argue myself right out of joining in on the discussion. BPJ never seemed to have that problem and I took much delight from his unfiltered thought. As far as his labeling some people as liberal, etc., I saw it as more good natured banter or at the most, mild disgust. Not the intolerant, hate dripping comments I've seen from other posters. Anyway. Hope he figures out a way to rejoin the forum. Maybe you could just change your moniker and then it wouldn't seem like you backed down or compromised your principals!
