Sweet!
There's a mostly unspoken acknowledgment among the voluntarily impoverished that it's better to be fiscally poor yet rich in experience-living the dream-than to be traditionally wealthy but live separate from one's passions.

HAha.. Sleeping in the dirt under the stars after being awake for 36 hours was the best part!

Fun stuff again! We had some new players. Lindsay who's name is not new in Trs here. Austin who is the great photographer who posted this tr. Last but not least we had Mr. Big Head and Roo. (the only two who were happy it was windy as hell)
Zzzzzzzzzz........................ Mr Big!!!
AB came for a visit. Great to have her there for while.
I climbed my first lead. A 5.4 with a gully (would hurt like hell if you fell) start then a traverses to the left to the third bolt then strait up to the last bolt and then the chains. I was comfortable and had a blast!! Can't wait to do it again.
first clip on my first lead topping out on my first lead...
It was another incredible day fill with fun and the best part is being surrounded by such great folks ...and pooches
Go Yana!! Lindsay! me working a 510a...it worked me ...over ...and over...and over....I lost....HA! I'll be back! walking through the flowers. The whole time you hike get strong smells of sweet Phlox... Lindsay cleaning a 5.8 she lead. Yana just cccacnnnn''tttt stop climbing! Bouldering fun at camp...

"Diamonds are a girl's best friend my arse. A girl's best friend is a stout pair of tramping boots. Umm, maybe it's a nice reduction sauce. Urrr, perhaps it's a nice pub just down the road. OK, so it's really all three. But freakin' diamonds?!"
