We took West Tiger 3 up to the top last night for some snooty hiker fun. The sunset wasn't all that impressive, but when darkness fell and the valleys lit up it was pretty cool. We saw a few shooting stars too. The bugs weren't very bad and we were the only people on the mountain, which was nice. Last year we did Mt. Si but decided for something shorter and less steep this year because we invited some novice friends along and we also felt scrambling down Si in the dark with headlamps was kind of risky. I'll post pictures when they develop.

Sounds like a great time! Was it good wine?

If you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in the dark with a mosquito. Silence is golden and duct tape is silver. I don't write trip reports.

TB - I think she's referring to "film". I think there are those that still use it. rolleyes.gif

Yah, well it was a little warm by the time we got to the top but after a few bottles that didn't really matter anymore. biggrin.gif Maybe we should organize our own NW Hikers wine & cheese viewpoint party...

Thanks Feeline. It was kind of a joke. TB

Miss N., sounds like a great idea. Anyone else have any thoughts?
