Not much to report here. Very good trail from TH to summit. Patchy snow from 4800' (a week ago), when crossing to the N side of the subtle ridge. Excellent views got me thinking of climbing Double Peak as well as the Cowlitz Chimneys. Lookout closed for the winter. Saw three Bald Eagles playing in the wind and a hawk hunting a squirrel in the middle of thick woods. 8 miles RT, 3600' gain, 2hrs up, 1.75 (bum ankle) down.

Beautiful pictures, Beave.
.....leaving me wanting to return over and over in what ever capacity that may be, even if one day my knees are too old and I can only see the mountains from my porch.
