Subject says it all. How many times a month do you hike in summer? How about winter? Shoulder seasons? Discuss. Be specific.

Often enough to get tired of it during high season. In winter there's a lot of other stuff to do outside.

I'm out about once a week year round. There are plenty of river bottoms available for winter hiking, and snowshoes are awesome. This is pretty much my main form of exercise.

I prefer to hike more in the shoulder seasons when it's cooler, less crowded, and less buggy.
I average about 2 nights out a month and a couple of day hikes thrown in for good measure.

I hike in the late spring through summer about 2-3 times a week. I try to backpack once a month. In the winter there are always lowland trails to try out, that I won't do when the Mts are open. And I love to snowshoe also.

As much as I can, which hasn't been much this year (new baby in October used up all my time off). My favorite month for hiking is September--cooler, fewer bugs. I also manage at least one snowshoe trip every winter.
