Hi folks! I was in that group of 4 that you mentioned. I wish I could have met you, but I was one of the slower ones on skis and never did see you.
We GPS tracked our route, which was mostly on the road on the way up. It came out to 8 miles RT for us.

Thanks, SW. Glad you guys got at least to the False Summit. Gusto was looking for your four-legged companion! When we heard the water dripping from the cornice, we figured it probably wasn't real smart to continue! I was wondering how the conditions would be for skiing down - sounds like they were pretty good Definitely take the short cut next time! s.d.
