I've been doing a lot of hiking out of Stehekin the last few years, (maybe 30+ days total) and thought I outght to post some pics. I've done McGregor, Star Peak, Goode Ridge, Bridge creek, agnes creek, Rainbow Creek, Trapper lake, Rainbow Lakes, Lake 6111, Mcalester/Dagger/Twisp lake loops, and also some trips into the mountains off the north side of Lake Chelan. If anyone ever wants to talk about this area or ask about something, I always enjoy discussions on this topic. These pics are from climbing McGregor (16 Mile RT, with almost 7,000' up) and from a Bridge/Rainbow creek loop trip.

If you go, let me know by email, I'll be in Stehekin again. McGregor is not just a trail hike. The top 1,000' is off trail rock/cliff scrampbing including places where you walk along a narrow "terrace" and a slip means lots of broken bones at the least. That said, it's a fun adventure, just get a good route description before you go.
