What a beautiful trip...now I have a dream for next summer!
By the way, this was my desktop background for months:

Nice Gali! I agree with David (it had to happen sooner or later). "Dream Attained" is my favorite image, and one that bests captures my memory of the lake from my first climb of Daniel.

Speaking of no name. Nice pic.

peltoms, the week before, on my initial failed attempt, I ended up doing the Deception Pass loop. Coming down from Cathedral Pass I met this party of 3 older hikers. One of the 3, a really nice lady, mentioned that her husband would be at Pea Soup Lake doing some glacier work next week. I wonder if he was with your group? I feel bad that I didn't ask their names, and it would be nice to know.

Nice!
I was *just* checking out that secluded basin and wondering how often it gets visited. My hunch was that it was accessible with a little effort from the PCT. Cool to see it up close!

Cool adventure, great place.
BTW, for any dirtbags out there, last summer we abandoned (i.e., rapped off) a picket at the area roughly 1/3 from the top and 1/3 from the left of this pic. It's there for the taking, but please drop me a line if you retrieve it.

Nice stuff. Hope to get in there later this year via one of the high routes.

We were wondering the same thing traversing the other side of the valley this weekend. Here's a shot further down toward Tucquala Lake. Looks pretty much the same all the way up the valley.

Oops, I'm still catching up on 7 pages of new threads since Friday. Looks like the beetle discussion has moved to this thread

That's too funny. I was thinking of heading to the Granite Mountain potholes this weekend, now postponed (for at least a week or two), to allow your trip to be forgotten.
