Got out of a half day of work and hit snow around 3k ft or about 10 miles on the canyon creek rd. Had it not been for the 4x4 would not have made it the last 5 miles to the TH. about a foot of snow on most of the trail deeper in open areas got to the meadow below high divide on the way to excelsior pass but no more snow shoe tracks to follow so headed back was a beautiful sunny day!! up.gif

living next to a volcano is awesome!!!

Just wondering, is the etymology of Damfino "Darn Fine" or "Darn if I know"? Obviously not named by a Canadian or it would have ended with "ay".
