Laziest Thanksgiving ever.
Went for a stroll through the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge and then had dinner at Hawk's Prairie (a pretty-good restaurant).

I live next to a pond with some beaver. Noticed one day they had felled a small alder but it got hung up in the blackberries. I freed it up and tossed it into the pond. Next morning it was gone.
Hiked to Poo Poo Point to use the Clivus Multrum. Great view of Rainier from the south take off. There were even the smallest patches of snow for the dog to play with.
A pretty nice day.
I've been stopping in at Hawk's Prarie for over 20 years, ever since my cousins, who have lived in the area nearly forever (Nisqually Indians) introduced me to it. Best fried oysters anywhere. If you're feeling hungry (and you aren't a veggietarian) get the oysters and steak.
From the North, I like the pies at The Village in Marysville. I haven't tried the Tulalip Casino buffet, although I hear it's pretty good, but pricey.
Anyone else have any good apres-hiking restaurant and menu recommendations?
