This is a spin off of the Evening Photography thread originally created by Bryan, but I wanted to be able to share some sunset photo's as well and see other people's sunset photo's.

NB, I like your last shot best. up.gif Surprising that this thread hasn't got much traction yet - sunsets are such crowd-pleasers. (Maybe the evening photos thread muddied the waters.) Here are some of my favorite sunset shots (all but one previously posted, at one time or the other rolleyes.gif ):

Hey Josh - this is very random, but have you ever heard of Youth in Focus? It's an organization geared toward helping young folks (ages 13-19) develop their photography skills. You might want to check it out. They have classes and offer some nice scholarships. I think it's something you might like to check out - your photography skills are great and this would be a fantastic place to further develop those skills. up.gif I'm not sure what their requirements are, but check out their website: Youth in Focus.

Opinions expressed here are my own.

Thanks Josh. In case you are interested here's the trip report for the climb up Half Dome, earlier in the day. Jim, I should have complimented you on the Bavaria photos, especially "North Bavaria".

Good question.... all but two.... The first one from the summit of Mount Dickerman was taken by my mom, but I was there, and the other one is cascade Valley at sunset....
