We really enjoyed spending some time with Ed recently. While we'll miss all the trip we didn't get to do together, it was a fun few weeks. First, he came with us down from Mount Washington in the Olympics

Then, he climbed up Treen Peak with us:

Next, he went with us to the social at Zeeks:

And, finally, he summited Mount Hinman with us, the third tallest peak in the Home Court

He'll be staying on Mount Hinman, enjoying the views, until the next NWHiker picks him up to continue the journey.

I have a traverse planned for September that involves Hinman. Will probably pick up the register if it's still there.

I added a wiki with the locations and map of the stops so far for the EMTSRM. I sure hope someone retrieves it off Hinman this year. We didn't realize it would be stuck there so long when we placed it there.

Hinman is on my list when access opens up. Ed was one of my climbing instructors for the OSAT trips a few years ago. I missed the initial Big Snow memorial trip and have been trying to chase him down since then. Still cant keep up with that guy!

If all goes as planned we'll be picking Ed up on Wednesday. In the unlikely event anyone picks him up this weekend be sure to post before Monday AM as Hinman will be a ~1500' detour from our lakebagging extravaganza.
