Yeah sorry that's what I meant. You pay $15 extra and have a hologram put on your NP pass. I bought my forest pass last June, so I must have paid $30 for it and just forgot - sorry!

What we do is buy the NP pass at REI when they go on sale for $40 and then go buy a hologram Eagle for $15. Covers about everything!

It's really the same here. The Forest Service Pass is good for the majority of THs. Wallace Falls just happens to be in a State Park. You have a few SPs with Trail Heads down there, too ... Beacon Rock for one. The upkeep of State Parks is completely different ball game than trail maintenence. Fortunately it's rare one has to park on State Park property to hike, or we'd have to subsidize day-use/car-camping areas to use a trail. (Actually I buy the annual state park pass anyway, because there's one two miles from my house where I take my dog for a swim after just about every hike, year round).

I have never been lost, but I'll admit to being confused for several weeks. - Daniel Boone

NP still isn't good for State Parks, no matter how many boosters you buy for it.

I wasn't refering to that...just letting any and all know that they don't have to spend $30 on the NWForest Pass if they have the NP pass.
