It's my firm belief that people who do the whole "trainin' for Mt. Rainier" song and dance on Mount Si only want people to think that's what they're doing. The closest they'll ever get to the summit of Rainier is some Paradise dayhike where they'll no doubt be hauling around a backpack full of rocks and telling chicks they're "trainin' for Everest".
Ha! Where'd you find that? That quote is PRICELESS! smile.gif

Cry Havoc, and Let Slip the Dogs of War
Being in the graphic design industry, people who take someone else's artwork without permission and sell it for their own profit rank just below the sweat on a snake's scrote sack, if snakes did indeed have scrote sacks. And that's putting it nicely. I'm a pretty easy going guy, but this is the kind of thing that makes me want to shave my head and run naked down the freeway with a samurai sword. My co-workers say I'm being too nice and are calling for Jihad. B-dog has already slaughtered two goats and is slashing his chest with a ceremonial exacto knife. God help us if he starts shouting in Klingon.

That was my thoughts but I did not say anything. It is just like taking a photo that someone posts here and selling it down.gif

And yet another artists work is swiped without permission. I'm gonna chalk this up to the thief being drunk off of the sweat drained from Milli Vanilli's bike shorts. And here i thought Vanilla Ice was dead. Angry Hiker is easy going but heed his warning. He has the means to turn you average happy-go-lucky trail chipmunk into a devastating IED.

Hey....What's that smell?

How is cascadeclimber profiting, exactly? I understand that asking permission would be appropriate in this case, but I don't see how this is that much different than TAH taking some else's witten work and pasting it into a post (without quoting) as his own.

As I read it, CafePress charges a base price for merchandise, the seller can establish a markup above that base price. As of yesterday afternoon, the markup for the items cascadeclimber linked was $4 above the published base price. My hope was that maybe TAH had set up the products there and cascadeclimber was just posting a link, or that my understanding is/was wrong about the CafePress pricing. EDIT: Looks like the product is gone now anyway.
