From Mt Ellinor with Mt Washington on the right. I think mine was 8 pictures stitched together. I had it printed out as an 8x40 and had a custom frame made for it. Looks gorgeous.

What type of filter did you use for this? The reflection is interesting.

No filter. Same scene two different times of the year. Very nice!

I really like that 2 season idea NB. Here is one that I made a couple years ago. Hopefully I'll be getting in there next week with a lot more snow for good skiing. If you look close you can see Jason's tracks on the NW ridge where he had a tough time after dropping a crampon so he couldn't down climb even though it was too icy to safely ski. He told me the story at the trail head so I left the skis and brought the camera instead.

Wow. Cool. Yep, the mid section where the NW Ridge seperates from the NFNWR was so icy. Down lower where you see my tracks, it was much, much better. Awesome shot. I may head up there next week also. Let me know when you are going. I wanted to ski the pinnacle hw over there or the west face of the n ridge.

Nice Adams sunset photo, Jim. up.gif I think Adams is positioned for some of the best sunset lighting -- I remember doing a hike on the Around the Mountain trail and watching the sun lowering in the sky and Adams was on fire...The red rock helps too.

Opinions expressed here are my own.

OK, I guess you guys didn't have to work today. Anyway, I took this one from the lunch bench at work this afternoon. A lot of parallax error but you get the idea. I'll see if I can clean it up.

I've only had one morning to process pictures from a North Cascades ski tour this weekend, but here is a panorama from a bivy below the Sharkfin Col.

slobber.gif It's beautiful! I would make it a background if it were'nt a panorama. Very nicely done! Lucky you to get such a view! Although I have of Jberg, but no camera. frown.gif
