I got a late start and stayed on top for the sweet light. I hiked down in the dark. I walked up to the summit, then walked the length of the ridge and then went back up the summit; I got some exercise today!.

3,600 feet total elevation gain
Amazingly all the snow is gone and it was not even icy up there. I brought ultra-light crampons, boots and gaitors but did not need any of them.
I had a nice clear view of three volcanoes, the Hood Canal the Southern Olypmics and even Grays Harbor. I watched the sun set over the Pacific Ocean from up there.
I'll post pictures later, just getting the map thing set up for now. A detailed trip report will be on my blog later. I'm bushed.
I switched the map to 'Map' view and zoomed out just to get oriented.
Oh, I see - SE part of the Olympics.
