Hey, all. I'm looking for someone/someones for an overnite trip - this Saturday - to Skyline Lake at Stevens pass to build/sleep in a snow shelter.
This will be my first time building a snow shelter. However, I feel pretty comfortable w/ what it takes to build one- I'm not looking for a mentor, just some company w/ the same interest.
Please be self-sufficient as I don't want to babysit.
Will prolly snowshoe around the lake while the shelter settles, perhaps practicing some compass work.
Nothing stressful, just a chilled out outdoors experience...
I'll keep that in mind. After this weekend I'll feel better about having an experience under my belt so I'll be willing to snow camp in more extreme locations...
...if all goes as planned, heh
