I'm going to go ISP surfing for a while, and need to have a permanent email address not attached to my ISP. I don't particularly like the yahoo/hotmail thing too well, but I need a permanent email address. Anyone got any leads, or a spare one at a domain that's not likely to go way anytime soon?

I've got one through Backpacker Magazine that works for me. Free, and no spam (but I don't post my email addy...when I have to post it I use my Hotmail addy).
A fuxk, why do I not give one?

pobox.com seems like a good outfit, but you have to pay a bit. I think bigfoot.com has a forwarding service. If you buy a Mac, Apple will give you an address and some web space. That's what I use. Having an e-mail address independent of your ISP is a great idea. I loved it when my ISP changed a few months ago and I didn't have to change a single address.
