|Friday, 7 June 2002, went to Leavenworth, and hiked the old pipe line trail up to where the river meets the cliffs and it is impossiable to pass. little did i know that there was a tunnel under the cliff. Due to a lot of overgrown bushes blocking the way, with the landslide. So we had to turn around without making it. Made a day of it, ate lunch then started for home. Stopping several times to try to find a way to get to Drury Falls, not so much to the falls, but to get on the eastern ridge to get a better pic. On the way out of Tumwater Canyon, i notices some cabins on the other side of the river, so we followed this old logging road up the hill and then hiked east on the middle on until we almost ran out of daylight it might be a good place to get to the falls from the west side. The water in the falls was less than the week before when i was there.
