Howdy!
It's been a while since I last visited, but figured I'd poke around and see about any input.
A friend and I are trying to plan a small backpacking trip (less than 15 miles r/t) near the Bitterroot Mountain Range in Idaho. It doesn't necessarily have to be in this region, just within a short range of the Pullman/Moscow area.
Ideally, we're looking for something fairly simple to hike to a secluded lake where we can setup camp, relax, fish a bit, and all the other such fun stuff...going for a swim in the lake wouldn't hurt either if possible.
Any thoughts?

the 15 miles r/t is not a breaking point...we're willing to go further to reach a more secluded area if needed.

Thanks for the tip. I'mnot that familiar with the area. I know where Avery is, but where is Malard-Larkins?
