I wonder why the goat felt the need to jump the creek? Maybe goats are distant relatives to cats. They'll climb thousands of feet, but won't touch water... hmmm.gif

So it is real? It just seems so unlikely.

Dunno, PhotoShop is a powerful tool... if it is fake, it's a very good one.

Neat photo, I like. At first it looks fairly improbable that a herd of goats would be hanging around munching that close to a camp but up in the Enchantments there are some pretty tame beggar goats.

Actually, that would be pretty easy to do in photoshop. Put the camera on a tripod, take multiple shots, and blend them together in photoshop.

The caption says it was Lake of the Angels. We had more than that hanging around our tent when we traversed from Elanor to Washington and it is not that far. They are attracted to salt in urine hurl.gif

Look at the reflection of the jumping goat in the water, and the ripples caused by the stumbling goat who apparently touched the water on his way over. If it was faked, then it was done by a master. But why not fake say, bigfoot, instead of a goat? I vote "real".

The goats are real. The people are faked.

I laugh how people immediately question if it was real and speculate how easy it would be to do in Photoshop.... The image was real---the print that was shown for the photo contest was on real photo paper from a normal type of lab/Kodak paper type of thing. It was just a spur of the moment funny moment for whoever took it! It made me laugh very hard when I saw it.

If it were faked in Photoshop, then they should get a reward for that cuz it's not as easy to do as everyone seems to think. Computers can do a lot, but it still takes plenty of time.
