Damn, I was looking forward to this. I knew I should have invested in some snowshoes, but unfortunately I didn't. I am a postholer and after doing maple pass last year in a foot of snow I learned not to do that anymore.

Besides the fact that I suspect you would have to snowshoe/walk part if not most of the way up the road by now there are more avalanche prone areas there assuming the avalanche danger will be high this weekend.
