Busted up Teneriffe this morning before work via the SW ridge... Up and down in 4 hrs, 45 minutes. It's no speed record, but it was grin-inducing the whole way.
I'm just glad we nailed it before the rain showed up. It really feels good to sit here in the office this afternoon looking out towards the east and the clouds and just smile...
Check the link above for pics and a quick little TR. The views were great, the trail was fun, and I even got to use a map and compass and altimeter.
Good times.
Panorama from the Summit
Much thanks for the report, it looks like there's a bit less snow on Mailbox then from the time I went up Si a few weeks back.
I dig the panoramic stitch and the design of your site too.
I don't know about that 4:30am part... but great pics! Where is Teneriffe?
Are ya gonna join the PNWH group sometime for a hike? There's some early morning (wankers! Sarbar ) mile mongers in our group... I'm just not one of them.
Teneriffe is the next mountain on the ridge east of Mount Si. You can see Si in setnei's panoramic picture just to the right of the sun shining on North Bend in the valley.
